Edward Wayne Bench

Edward Wayne Bench, son of Paul and Barbara Bench was born March 18, 1951 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Wayne died May 4, 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona. Wayne and his wife of 16 years Jeanne Sullivan Bench lived in Strawberry, Arizona.
Wayne is survived by his wife Jeannie of the home; one son, Edward Wayne Bench, Jr. and wife Brandi of Lawton, Oklahoma; two daughters, Laurie Cain of Tempe, Arizona and Debbie Carl and husband Justin of Strawberry, Arizona; father, Paul Bench and wife Flora of Stockton, California; mother, Barbara Bench and friend Darrol Waite of Guthrie; three brothers, Paul Bench, Jr. of Comanche, Oklahoma, David Bench and wife Rhonda of Guthrie and James Bench and wife Donna of Bethany, Oklahoma; one sister, Patty Bench of Guthrie; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Wayne will be missed by his family and friends.
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 19, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Guthrie with Gene Owen officiating. Local arrangements are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at abernathyaaron.com.
