LONG TIME GUHRIE RESIDENT SUCCUMBS EARLY ON THURSDAY
LeRoy Baker, age 40, died at his home, about one mile west of Guthrie on W. College Avenue about 6 a.m. Thursday. Baker had suffered a paralytic stroke Wednesday afternoon and never regained consciousness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Guthrie First Baptist church. Rev. H. H. Boston and Rev. Alvin W. Hodin will officiate.
Surviving are the widow, two sons, LeRoy, jr. and Leo, his mother of California and a brother, Morris C. Baker, Okmulgee.
Burial will be made at Summit View cemetery under direction fo the Davis Funeral home.
