Donald Ray Allen, Sr., 81 years of age, formerly of Guthrie, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. The son of Joseph Alvin and Frances Ellen (McCoy&41; Allen, Don was born on November 25, 1941, in Idabel, Oklahoma
Don was a 1960 graduate of Guthrie High School and a long-time resident of Guthrie. He married Trena J. Stitzel on May 15, 1961. They were married for forty years until her passing in 2001. Don worked for the FAA as a supervisor in the print shop.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Trena J. Allen; two sons, Michael Allen and Donald Ray Allen, Jr.; and two nieces, Kelly Ray Allen and Shelly Christine Allen.
Don is survived by his twin brother, Douglas Ray Allen and wife Linda of Blanchard; three grandchildren, Brooke Dianne Allen, Jade McKenzie Allen, and Zachary Wayne Allen; and one niece, Toni Lee Donahoo.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
