CLYDE ALVIN ROSS
The funeral for Clyde Alvin Ross, 88, of Marshall, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Marshall Christian Church. The Revs. Rex Hay-maker and Don Blom will officiate. Burial will be in South Marshall Lions Cemetery. Arrangements are by Abernathy-Aaron Funeral Home, Crescent.
He was born July 29, 1918, in Roxanna to Vinton and Carola Shaffer Ross and died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He married Ruby E. Dollison July 25, 1938. They attended First Baptist Church of Marshall and later attended Marshall Christian Church. He was a farmer most of his life, raising wheat and cattle and also worked as a service station attendant. He was a member of Lovell Round-up Club in his youth. He was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge more than 50 years and a member of Frontier County Museum.
Surviving are his wife Ruby; two daughters, Sandra Voskhul of Crescent, and Sharon Kruse of Enid; one son, Steve Ross of Yukon; one brother, Cecil of Garber; one sister, Carolyn Newell of Marshall; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and a grandson.
Memorials may be made to Marshall Ambulance Fund or Marshall Christian Church.
