Cloyde Don Kyle, age 75 of Guthrie, Oklahoma departed this life on September 10, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Cloyde was born on January 11, 1943 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Robert Earl and Imogene (Stewart) Kyle. He lived in Guthrie all his life. Cloyde married Lena Faye Herrin on April 24, 1964 in Gainesville, Texas. He served in the United States Navy and worked as a self-employed brick mason. Cloyde enjoyed drinking coffee with his buddies and fishing.
Cloyde leaves behind is wife Lena of the home; four children Stewart Lynn Kyle of Guthrie, Joseph Don Kyle and wife Tina of Oklahoma City, Marilyn Beth Wells and husband Jim of Marshalltown, Iowa, Cloyde Anderson Kyle of Guthrie, and Timothy Herrin and wife Marjorie of Littlestown, Pennsylvania; sister Shirley Ann McKenzie and husband Vernon of Guthrie and brother Charles Kyle and wife Barbara Jean of Oklahoma City. Cloyde is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Cloyde is preceded in death by his parents, brother Emery Kyle, and son Eddie Don Woodard.
Services will be held on September 13, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Paul Phillip Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow at Seward Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M., and Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.
Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
