Cleda Marie Hamilton

Cleda Marie Hamilton was born to Clifford Decker and Mildred (Roberts) Decker at home on August 15, 1941. She married Jimmy Lee Hamilton on September 2, 1958 and they celebrated 50 years of marriage this past September.
She had various jobs in earlier years, one of which was at the Masonic Home in Guthrie, OK, but the majority of her life was spent as a homemaker and avid yard person and landscaper at her home southeast of Guthrie.
Cleda is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Eldon and Michael Decker; and one son, Terry Lee Hamilton.
She is survived by her husband, Jim of the home; two daughters, Linda Bese and husband Max of Drummond, OK and Annette Davis and husband Mike of Midwest City, OK; two grandsons; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; and numerous cousins.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2009 at Seward Cemetery, Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cleda’s name to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201 or Companion Hospice, 1314 East Oklahoma, Guthrie, OK 73044
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Monday, 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
