Wilma Louise Ford

1935-2016

Louise Ford, 80, passed away peacefully , Sunday, January 24th. She was born in Coalgate, Oklahoma to Enszley Dock and Ruby Mae Burleson. She met her husband Buford Ford at the age of 18 and they were married on Sept 27, 1953. They had three children, Deborah Elaine Bagwell, Pamela Annette Ford, and Buford R. Ford Jr. "Bucky". Louise also had one brother Enszley Dwight Burleson. She retired from Central State College, now known as Central State University, as a manager in food service for 25 years.

Granny Grunt (as they all know her by) leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dock and Ruby Burleson and one grandchild.

Family and friends viewing will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Matthews Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Seward Cemetery in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
