Mary Jean Simpson Butler went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 7, 2011. She was born on February 19, 1956 to John B. “Dee” and Imogene Simpson, Jr.
Mary was a homemaker. She loved to cook and spend time with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her animals almost as much as she did her kids. She also loved to work in her yard and tend to her flowers.
Mary and Keith Butler were married on July 19, 1974 in Gainesville, TX. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John, Jr. and Imogene Simpson and one brother John Simpson, III.
Mary is survived by her husband of 36 years, Keith of the home, one son Brian Butler, two daughters Tamara Coil and her husband Mike and Tonya Zamora and husband Rodolfo all of Edmond. She is also survived by five grandchildren that was the love of her life, Bailey and Alicia Zamora, Elizabeth, Tristen, and Brianna Butler, one brother Jimmy Simpson and wife Kathy, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2011 at Smith Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Seward Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK.
Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
