Marie Lucille Adams, age 98 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away June 27, 2017 in Guthrie. She was born on February 4, 1919 in Seward, Oklahoma to George and Clara (Killingsworth) Dreessen.
Marie lived in the Guthrie area her entire life and was a member of the Church of God. She married William Luther Adams in 1941. She enjoyed sewing and baking. Her family especially loved her homemade bread.
Survivors include her 2 children, William "Bill" Adams and wife Patricia of Guthrie and Dianna Jambor and husband Don of Browerville, MN, 1 brother, George Dreesen, Jr. and wife Joan of Guthrie. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Adams in 1998 and 1 brother, Marvin Dreessen.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM, on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Seward Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Hayes
Funeral Home.
