Charles "Curly" Melvin McAnally passed away May 24, 2009. He was born October 11, 1949 in Oklahoma City to Jack and Edna McAnally.
Charley met the Love of his Life, Vicki in 1971 and they were married on June 18, 1971. Charley loved nothing more than spending time with his "little family", Vicki, and Caleb. He loved to spend time outside, work in the yard, fish, and tell stories or jokes to anyone willing to listen. Charley's generous nature, warm smile, and laughter will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Charley is preceded in death by his father, Jack, his son Caleb Jack, and granddaughter Priscilla Jade.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Vicki, three sons, Shawn, Charley, and Caleb; mother Edna; two sisters, Jo Ann and Robin, and brothers Jack and David; grandsons Caleb, Elliott, and Benjamin; granddaughters Kirstie and Drew, and countless loved family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery, Mulhall, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK. The casket will not be open at any time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Limbs for Life Foundation, 5929 North May, Suite 511, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.
