Mary Dixon The Mulhall Enterprise Friday, August 16, 1901 Submitted by: Debby Cook
Mary Dixon, daughter of Adam and Anna Dixon, was born October 6, 1887, and died July 26, 1901, aged 13 years, 8 months and 26 days. She received injuries in a cyclone September 14 in Kansas which caused paralysis, from which she suffered till death gave relief. The remains were followed by a long procession of sympathizing friends to Lone Star, where the writer preached the funeral sermon, then to the Mulhall cemetery where loving hands laid our little sister to rest to await her Lord's coming.
