Carol Henry
The funeral for Carol Henry, 74, of Crescent, will be 2 p.m. today, June 2, 2009, at First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Keith Wilkinson will officiate.
She was born January 10, 1935, on the Jones family homestead in Lovell and died Thursday, May 28, 2009, at her home.
She attended Banner 7 School near Lovell and Crescent High School.
She married W. E. "Hank" Henry July 12, 1953, in Lovell. They lived in Enid, Kingfisher and Watonga before retiring to Crescent.
She was a homemaker and quilter and a member of Central Baptist Church and Highland Red Hatters, where she was the duchess flamboyant dame and club clown. She also was a longtime member of Lovell Progressive Club and charter member of Frontier Country Historical Museum.
Surviving are two daughters, Jeannine Henry and Virginia Brakefield; three sons, David Henry, Kevin Henry and Tracy Henry; one brother, Jim Jones; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hank, one brother and one grandson.
Memorials may be made to Frontier Country Historical Museum or Autumn Bridge Hospice of Oklahoma City.

Burial will be in Oakview Cemetery, Lovell. Arrangements are by Abernathy-Aaron Funeral Home, Crescent.
