Merle Don Wilson died July 24, 2008 at his home in Crescent, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 1 day. He was born November 23, 1933 in Crescent, Oklahoma to Samuel Lee and Bertie (Durham) Wilson.
Merle worked for several oil field companies and retired in 1998. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He loved old country music, fishing, hunting and working in his garden. He also loved his dog Buster.
Survivors include, two daughters, Donna McKinney and Cheryl Marler; one sister, Aliene Rob son; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 28, 2008 at the First Christian Church with Pastor Keith Gordon officiating. Burial followed at the Oakland-Knowles Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at abernathyaaron.com

Merle Don Wilson died July 24, 2008 at his home in Crescent, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 1 day. He was born November 23, 1933 in Crescent, Oklahoma to Samuel Lee and Bertie (Durham) Wilson.
