Gaylynn Marie Williams
(October 18, 1961 - October 29, 2008)
I was born on October 18, 1961 in Vallijo California to wonderful parents Gay Laster and Darling Connor Laster. I married my dear husband Kevin Lee Williams who died tragically as a young man. God blessed me with 2 beautiful children who brought me much joy. My son Michael Shawn, and Tiffany Marie and also my 2 precious grandbabies Rebekkah Elise and my red headed Kiley Elizabeth who are the sunshine of my life. I love you kids. I was also blessed to grow up with my brother Steven , and my 2 sisters Cokie and Shelly. Boy, we sure made a lot of memories together. My little brother Louie Shawn who died when he was a baby. God also gave me Cindy who was my best friend and who I loved liked a sister. I have 2 wonderful grandmothers Marie Connor and Marie Ponce and of course also my grandfather Javier Ponce. Grandpa Laster and my Granny Annie and also my Grandpa Connor (Grumpy) as I always affectionately called him preceded me in death. I was a nurse, and loved my job, but my greatest accomplishment in this life was accepting Jesus as my Lord and savior. The Lord gave me a mother in the Lord, Connie Ritter who has blessed me beyond imagination along with her husband Freddie Ritter who has worked tirelessly for us. Thanks Dad! I have been so blessed to have 2 families that loved me. Thanks Debbie, Johnny, Chuck, Kim and Tim for sharing your mother with me. I attended Highway of Holiness with my pastors John and Naomi Stieger who also are my friends along with my church family. God also blessed me with a friend, Vicki Jones who was moved on by the Lord to bless me. Thanks Vicki for obeying the Lord. I love all of you, and it’s so hard to say goodbye, but it won’t be long until we meet again by the river of life with sister Carol, sister Morris and sister York, and all our beloved friends and family. Rejoice with me, because I’m finally home.
Till we meet again, Sister Gaylynn
