Funeral services for Nona P. Wheeler, 67, of Crescent were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at the First Baptist Church of Crescent with the Rev. Gerald Biswell officiating. Interment followed in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery in Crescent under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home.
Wheeler was born July 15, 1935 in Perry to Jack and Thelma (Sebring) Moran. She died June 7, 2003 in Crescent. She worked as the Crescent librarian for many years.
