James “Jim” Koehl age 83 of Crescent, Oklahoma passed away on April 19, 2022. He was born September 9, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Edward and Margaret Koehl.

Jim worked as a compressor mechanic at Eason Gas Plant. Also worked as an electrician on airplanes at Vance AFB. After retirement he worked at Cedar Valley golf course for 18 years. Jim served served in the Air Force for 12 years.

He enjoyed golfing and often referred to as “Killer” at the golf course. He also enjoyed showing off his 1955 Cameo truck in parades and car shows.

He is survived by his wife Marlene of 34 years; 3 children LeaAnn Parker and husband Ronald of Enid, Mike Koehl and wife Angie of Enid, and Lori Koehl of Enid; stepdaughter Kathy Brown and husband Tim of Crescent and Sherry Crowe of Park City, KY; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Crosspointe Assembly Church in Crescent with Rev. Mike Chanel. Burial will follow in the Oakland-Knowles Cemetery. Viewing will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
