Madean W. Crook
(December 28, 1926 - November 1, 2007)

Madean W. Crook died November 1, 2007 in Crescent, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 4 days. She was born December 28, 1926 in Crescent, Oklahoma to Nyle Wilbur and Oklahoma (Brooks) Tharp. On September 15, 1952 she married J.D. "Don" Crook, he preceded her in death on May 28, 2003.

Madean was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her pets, working with her flowers, cooking and to sew. She was also a member of the Assembly of God Church in Crescent.

Survivors include, one daughter, Debra Crook; two sons, Leon Crook and Chris Crook, both of Crescent; one brother, Max Tharp of Crescent; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Crook and by her 2nd husband, Don Crook.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Crescent Assembly of God Church with Pastor Mark LeMarr officiating, burial will follow at the Oakland - Knowles Cemetery. Services under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. Condolences may be sent to the family at abernathyaaron.com.
