Funeral services for Robert Leslie Adams, 24, of Crescent were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003 at the First Christian Church of Crescent with Pastor John Flemmons and Pastor Keith Gordon officiating. Burial followed in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home in Crescent.
Adams was born Oct. 17, 1978 in Edmond to Robert Lynn Adams and Leslie (Nancy) Murch. He died Feb. 6, 2003 in Guthrie.
He worked for Kone Elevator, Inc. and was a member of the First Christian Church. He was also a member of the executive board of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local No. 63. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed being with family and friends. Robert was going to be a father in September.
He married Melodee Lyn Williams on Sept. 18, 1999 in Crescent.
Survivors include his wife, Melodee, of the home; his mother and stepfather, Leslie and John Murch of Crescent; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Nancy Williams of Crescent; one sister, Heather Adams of Crescent and one brother, Dylan Murch of Crescent.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Thelma Nance, his paternal grandparents, Bob and Lucille Adams, and one uncle, Martin Adams.
