Robert Clarence Moorman, 82, passed from this world on March 16, 2022 at his home in Coyle, OK. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel, in Stillwater. Graveside services will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coyle, OK. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is handling arrangements.
Robert was born October 24, 1939 to Alvin and Louemma Moorman in rural Perkins, OK. He attended Coyle Public Schools, graduating in 1957. On April 14, 1961, Robert married the love of his life, Pat.
Robert attended the auto body program at Okmulgee Tech in 1962. Over the years, he worked at Mitchell Motors, owned Bobs Body Shop and Moorman Roustabout Services, and was a lifelong farmer.
He was a member of the Coyle 4-H and FFA booster clubs and a part of the Coyle Alumni.
Robert enjoyed spending his free time restoring antique tractors, reading western novels, and attending his grandchildren's events.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Donald and John Moorman, and his daughter, Darla Duncan.
Robert is survived by his wife, Pat, sons Danny Moorman (Michelle) and David Moorman (Terri); brother Larry Moorman(Gaylene); 10 grandchildren: Jamie Cormany (Bryan), Jason Moorman, Casey Cronister (Poke), Dustin Moorman (Taryn), Colton Moorman (Natasha), Brooke Moorman, Teryn Moorman, Heath Moorman (Jae), Morgan Duncan (Michael), Peyton Duncan, 17 great grandchildren: Matt, Kelsie, Ryan, Addie, Maddie, Kylee (Chris), Katelyn, Cooper, Canden, Kynlee, Bradon, Tessa, Bryson, Conner, Payson, Amity, two more on the way, and one great-great grandchild, Kolt.
The Family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Coyle Schools Foundation, P O Box 122, Coyle, OK 73027
