Betherine Bennett, 68 Passed away on August 3, 2010 in Crescent, Ok. She was born June 28, 1942 in Crescent, Ok, to Andy and Emma Bennett. She graduated from Crescent High School in 1961. Betherine worked in the Health Care field for over 35 years, until her health caused her to retire. She loved to get family together and cook each of them there own personal food likes. She loved to cook and take care of people. She loved to listen to Gospel Music.
Left to mourn her and Keep her memories alive is 5 daughters: Patricia Morgan (Cecil), LaDonna Bennett ( Theron), Jeanetta K. Royal, Martina Hunter ( Raymond) All of Enid, Ok. Mattie Bennett Oklahoma City, Ok. 2 Sons: Michael Bennett of Edmond, Ok. Brian Fuston of Kingfisher, Ok. One Brother Walter Bennett (Donna) of Morrison, Ok.13 grandkids- Andy Morgan (Shannon), LeKesha Morgan, Cecil (Chris) Morgan, Montoiya Bennett, Jonathan Norwood, Chevis Royal, Amber Royal, Shameeka Hunter, Amari Simmons, Darian Bennett, Adrian Bennett, Devon (Fuston) Woods, LaToya Woods. 2 Great Grandkids - Isyss Morgan, and Isaiah Morgan, and a host of nieces and nephews. "To her children she ruled with an iron fist. And to her grandchildren, she loved with a gentle heart." Chris Morgan- Grandson
Proceeded in death by: Parents Andy and Emma Bennett 3 brothers (Herman, Kenneth, and Francis), 4 sisters (Mattie, Marriah, Mary, and Emmalene, 1 still born sibling, and 1 daughter Yolanda Bennett.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Lighthouse Church of God in Christ in Crescent. Burial will follow at the Oakgrove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
