Lawrence Falick was born February 10, 1926 in the Bronx, New York City, to Rose and Joseph Falick.

A Staff Sergeant in World War Two, he served as a tail gunner on a B-29 in the U.S. Army Air Corps, flying twenty-three combat missions over Japan. He graduated from Oklahoma A&M (Oklahoma State University), Stillwater, then moved to Washington, DC, where he married Waleta Mae Stone of Chandler, OK, on April 5, 1950.

Mr. Falick worked for the federal government, in the Bureau of the Budget (Office of Management and Budget) examining budgets for the Department of Defense, and for the National Science Foundation, reviewing hydrothermal energy projects, and then for private industry on contracts with the Department of Energy.

Mr. Falick passed away on January 25, 2023 at his residence in Carlsbad, California. He is survived by his three children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
