STEVE DUGGER
The funeral for Steve Dugger, 74, of Orlando, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Orlando United Methodist Church. The Rev. Adrian Pollard will officiate. Burial will be in Morris Heights Cemetery, Orlando. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.
He was born Oct. 6, 1931, in Oklahoma City, to James Edward and Ocie Mary Smith Dugger and died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at his home.
He was raised in the Oklahoma City area. He married Arlene Sanders Oct. 12, 1952, in Gainesville, Texas. He served in the Army from 1951 to 1957 including two tours during the Korean conflict. He was awarded a Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He retired from the Yazoo Valley Oil Mill, Greenwood, Miss., in 1999 and returned to Oklahoma.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene of the home; two sons, Kenny Dugger of Lucedale, Miss., and Steve Dugger of Greenwood; one daughter, Marilyn Morgan of Orlando; one brother; two sisters; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, eight brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Orlando United Methodist Church.
