Karen Betchan, 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at her home in Perry, Oklahoma
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 1-6 P.M. with family greeting guests from 4-6 P.M. at Dighton Marler Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Lucien United Methodist Church in Lucien, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Morris Heights Cemetery in Orlando, Oklahoma. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Karen was born on February 23, 1950, to Edker and Mary (Cobb) Barnett. She grew up in Wynona, Oklahoma. She married Don Betchan on June 3, 1967, at the First Baptist Church in Wynona, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jim Martin and Warren Barnett.
Karen is survived by her husband Don; her children: Angela Gayle Beckham and husband Joe, and Justin Lee Betchan and wife Jenny. She is also survived by her grandchildren Colton Scott Beckham and wife Lauren, Brayden Don Joseph Beckham, Jakob Benjamin Beckham and significant other Angelique Erwin, and Audrey Justine (AJ) Beckham and significant other Brayden Stewart; her great-granddaughter Willow Kaye Beckham who was born on March 21, 2023; and her sisters: Jeanne Votaw and husband Jim of Perry, Oklahoma, and Stephanie Glasgow and her husband Phil of Plano, Texas.
