Graveside services for Ralph Wilkins will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery in Guthrie, OK with Brother Phillip Gellenbeck Officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 4 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at the Hayes Funeral Home in Guthrie, OK.
Ralph Oland Wilkins was born on April 22, 1924 in Ionia, Michigan to Leo Stillman and (Annetta) Eva Wilkins and passed away at the Golden Age Nursing home in Guthrie, Oklahoma on Sunday, December 2, 2012. He served in the Army Air Force and was stationed in England during World War II.
He was married on October 28, 1945 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Dorothy Elsie Delmar .They made their home in Kalamazoo for many years until retiring to Guthrie, OK in 1980. He loved cars and had been self employed in as an auto body repairman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, his parents, one granddaughter, Tisha of Guthrie, OK, a sister Aneita Corteway of Midwest City, OK and 2 brothers, Jerry and Donny both of Portage, MI. He is survived by his 7 children, Ruth Dollins of Shawnee, OK. Christine Rogers of Kahoka, MO, Dale of Portage, MI, Del of Guthrie, OK, Judy Morgan of Springfield, MO, Nancy Allen of Springfield, MO and (Ralph) Steve of Pagosa Springs, Co, 22 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank his nurses and staff at the Golden Age Nursing Home for their care and kindness shown to our Dad.
