Graveside funeral services for Fay Maxine Sanabria, 90, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Fay was born on December 15, 1920 in Centralia, OK to Charles and Jessie Agnus (Bowman) Turnbough. She passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 in Guthrie.
Fay was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She loved gardening and tending to her many pets. She also enjoyed cooking and cleaning her house.
She is survived by her husband Francis Sanabria of the home; three step-daughters Sharon Carmichael and husband Joe of Argyle, TX, Sandra Dutcher and husband Dallas of Guthrie, and Tonya Sanabria of El Reno, OK; nephew Charley Turnbough of Ogden, KS; two nieces Patricia Gorenson of Porterville, CA and Sherry Hodges of Grove, OK; grandson Greg Mitchell of Tulsa, OK; and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Fay is preceded in death by one son, Morris Mitchell, in 2006.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
