LaVerna Edythe Marshall

LaVerna Edythe Marshall, age 97, passed away July 15, 2017 in Piedmont, Oklahoma. She was born on July 21, 1919 in Peru, Nebraska to Arch and Edith (Campbell) Auffinkamp.

LaVerna married Una Marshall on September 18, 1938. She lived in Guthrie for 20 years and had lived in Piedmont for the last 3 1/2 years to be with family. LaVerna was a member of the First Baptist Church and Giedeon's.

Survivors include her son Eddie Marshall and wife Elaine of Piedmont, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Una Marshall in 1997, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with John Kellogg officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday From 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
