Graveside funeral services for Susie J. Langley, 82, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Susie was born on March 26, 1927 in Dover, OK to George Washington and Blanch Mae (Phipps) Fredregill. She died Thursday, December 17, 2009 in Guthrie.
She is survived by five sons Robert Langley of Lyman, WY, Raymond Langley and wife Betty of Newalla, OK, Ronald Langley and wife Darlene of Casper, WY, Richard Langley of Newalla, and Kenneth Langley of Meridian, OK; three daughters Sue Kouts and husband Randy Bagwell of Frutia, CO, Barbara Hooten and husband Danny of Meridian, and Debra Martin and husband Bill of Johnstown, CO; eleven grandsons; ten granddaughters; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Susie is preceded in death by her husband Aldon Lee Langley; her parents; step-mother Leona Beatrice (Brown) Fredregill; two grandsons;one great-grandson; one brother, Charles L. Fredregill, and one sister, Beatrice M. Burner.
Susie enjoyed crocheting and loved to give her booties, afghans, doilies, and lots of other crocheting to family and friends. Anyone that knew her would have something she had made. She and her husband were in a CB Club, and she loved going shopping at Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby with her daughters or granddaughters and then out to lunch.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Friday, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
