Earl Dean DuBois, 79, was born in Crescent, OK to Reuben and Mary (Coulson) DuBois, and departed this life on August 20, 2009 in Guthrie, OK. He was a World War II Veteran, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 4578, and a KCCH Mason
He was preceded in death by wife Nancy DuBois, and 9 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his longtime companion Jewel Bussard, daughter LaHonda Roberts of Tulsa, OK, daughter Carol DuBois and Rick Black of Yukon, OK, and son David DuBois and wife Shelley DuBois also of Yukon, OK, granddaughters, Stephanie, Julia, Makinzi, and Miya, and grandsons, Greg, Tim, and Danny, and great grandchildren, Jessica, and Gauge. He is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Penn of Dallas, TX and Bertha Ratliff of Houston, TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
He may have gone from this world, but not from our hearts. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Smith Memorial Chapel. Pastor Adrian Pollard will be officiating assisted by Reverend Bob Walker. Burial will follow at the Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
