Funeral services for Lee Roy "Bubba" Coker, 26, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 26, 2009 at Community Church, Guthrie. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Lee was born on December 25, 1982 in Edmond, OK to George Emery and Gloria Darlene (Hoel) Coker. He died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in Guthrie.
Lee worked at MIDCO Fabricators for eight months and was a volunteer fire fighter for the Sooner Fire Department. He loved to ride motorcycles and to draw. He was also a member of Guthrie JROTC color guard, rifle team, and saber team.
He is survived by one daughter Libby Marie Coker; one son Steven Lee Wayne Coker; parents George and Gloria Coker of Guthrie; one sister Georjie Frederick and husband Jason of Guthrie; one half-brother Heinze L.E. Coker and wife Doris of Mannheim, Germany; nieces and nephews Justin, Chase, A.J., Caitlyn, Alyssa, one on the way Hayleigh, Raymond Lee, Dennis, and Louie; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Lee is preceded in death by his grandparents Lee Roy and Florence (Deaton) Hoel and Lester and Marie (Bowers) Coker, uncle Larry Clutter, and cousin Nathan Clutter.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Sunday, 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Condolences may be emailed to smith-gallo@sbcglobal.net.
