Eva Gooch, 92, passed away March 10, 2016.She was born February 5, 1924, in Marshall, Oklahoma, to Frank and Grace Allen.
Eva was a homemaker who was a hard worker and wonderful cook. Eva and Forest had a farm north of Guthrie for 24 years. Eva enjoyed cooking for the hired hands who worked on the farm. Eva also enjoyed playing guitar, playing piano, and singing. She was active in the Abell Community Church and enjoyed teaching children’s Sunday school.
Eva was a devote Christian who led her family through a Christian example. Eva loved her family and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Eva is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Grace Allen and 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Her husband Forest Ray Gooch Sr. and son Forest Ray Gooch Jr.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy Daniel and Carolyn Johnson and seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Graveside funeral services will be held March 14th, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Lawrie Cemetery, in Guthrie, Oklahoma with Gene Owen officiating. Services are under Smith-Gallo Funeral home. Friends may sign the online guestbook
