Sgt Robert H. Fore

Robert H Fore first owned this plate of land which he deeded it to become a cemetery. Robert Fore was born in Prince Edward County, Virginia on April 20, 1829 to Silas A. and Sarah C Moss-Fore. His first wife named Caroline Nixon-Fore married Robert in MO March 16, 1865, they had 2 children Mary and Alexander Fore (1866-1883). Alexander died in Linn County, Missouri on 18 Jan 1883 he was 17yrs old.. Later Robert married Ellen Fore.
Mr Fore served at different times throughout the Civil War in MO. He served from Feb 1862-1865.
