Grady LeRoy Wooden
(September 29, 1934 - January 28, 2011)

Grady LeRoy Wooden was born September 29, 1934 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Grady G. and Bernice (Wright) Wooden. He passed away January 28, 2011 at his home in Crescent, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years.

LeRoy enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He used to drive at stock car races. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the VFW.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Green of Crescent; a son, Jimmy Wooden of Pond Creek; three brothers, Jay Wooden of Piedmont, OK, Don Wooden of Oklahoma City, and Mike Wooden of Bethany, OK; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bonnie, two brothers, Wayne and Grant Wooden, and by two sisters, Wanda Lou Wooden and Jean Hankla.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 31, 2011 graveside at the Crescent Cemetery with Brother Barry Richard officiating. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
