Patsy Lea Williams
(September 29, 1931 - December 31, 2011)
Patsy Lea Williams was born September 29, 1931 in Lovell, Oklahoma to Roy Eugene and Alice Elizabeth (Baker) Davison. She passed away December 31, 2011 in Oklahoma City at the age of 80 years.
Patsy was retired from USDA where she worked for many years along with being a housewife, mother, and grandmother. She was married to N.A. “Tuffy” Williams on January 5, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Patsy was a true Patriot and made hundreds and hundreds of “Hugs and Kisses” for the U.S. Troops overseas. She mailed many care packages to the troops as well. She also loved embroidery, crocheting, and helping Tuffy with the Miniature Horses. Patsy and Tuffy also enjoyed being Santa and Mrs. Clause for many years in the Crescent and Guthrie Christmas Parades.
Survivors include her husband N.A. “Tuffy” Williams of the home; two daughters, LaTonna Lea Sims and husband M.C., Jr. of Lake Fork, TX and Reva Dawn Haltom and husband Doug of Waynoka, OK; son, Gail Dean Spencer of Aline, OK; three step-daughters Alta Mae Wamsley and husband Ron of Guthrie, Shirleen Tigert and husband Billy of Arcadia, OK, and Nancy Williams and husband Gene of Crescent; sister, DeEtte Icke of Cushing, OK; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and twelve step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Roy Harley Davison and James Quinton Davison, and by one sister, Clara Beth Davison.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Crosspointe Church with Pastor Mark LeMarr officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
