Lillie Mae Williams of Edmond peacefully passed away surrounded by her children on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Lillie journeyed through this life for 87 years.
Lillie was born in Okmulgee, OK and lived in Del City, Guthrie, and for the past 20 years in Edmond. Lillie is survived by her wonderful husband and best friend Kermit Williams. Lillie was a simple, gentle, caring, and loving wife, mother, sister, and grandma. Lillie was a savvy Skip-Bo player with her husband, enjoyed crossword puzzles and bingo. She was an avid bird lover and enjoyed many great vacations with her husband and family. Lillie was an immediate friend to all who met her.
Lillie is preceded in death by sisters, Wanda Hodge, Thelma Berry, Mary Ann Thayer; and brothers, Butch Thomas, Walter Thomas, and Billy Thomas.
She is survived by her children, Jim Selanders and wife Micki, Ben Selanders and wife Ysabel, Laura Curtis and husband Jerry, Carol Gleba and husband Chuck, Ron Williams, and Howard Williams; grandchildren, Dale Selanders, Andy Selanders, Matthew Curtis, Reneé Selanders, Blake Selanders, Brooke Williams, Crystal Kuppinger, Ben Williams, Mark Williams; great-grandchildren Ethan, Kassie, Myshae, Gavin, Emma, Preston; sister, Cheryl Little; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 7th at Spring Creek Assembly of God in Edmond, with burial to follow in Crescent, OK. Dr. Paul Williams and Rev. Bob Walker will conduct the services.
