Okarche-The funeral for John Todd, 87, who died Wednesday at Okarche Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 AM Saturday at Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher, with the Rev. Fred King officiating. Burial will be in Crescent Cemetery.

He was born November 16, 1901, in Hartville, Missouri, and farmed in Texas for several years. On August 1, 1925, he married Viva Summers. They moved to Crescent in 1929. She died in May 1933.

In 1942, he married Grace Wright. They moved to Kingfisher in 1945. She died in March 1983.

He had been employed as a truck driver for Kingfisher from 1952 to 1968.

Todd was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mae Skipping of El Centro, California; three sons, R. C. of Oklahoma City, Kenneth of Kingfisher and Clifford of Stockdale, Texas; one sister, Opal Merrell of Moore; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by one grandchild and one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to First Shamrock Organ Fund or to Okarche Memorial Hospital.
