Maria Segura
(March 14, 1931 - December 14, 2010)
Maria Cruz Segura was born March 14, 1931 in Nieves, Zacatecas. After a battle with lymphoma cancer, she was surrounded by her loved ones when she went to Heaven on December 14, 2010. She will be united with her parents, sisters, children, and grandson in Heaven. Cruz is survived by her husband, Gilberto Segura, who she enjoyed a sixty year marriage with. Her surviving children are sons Alberto Segura, Martin Segura, and Jesse Segura; her daughters are Irene Ballesteros, Maria Segura, Antonia Segura, Guadalupe Rangel, Maria DeFuentes, Silvia Bulnes, Martha Luna, and Leticia Muzquiz. Other survivors include six siblings, fifty-one grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, and thirteen great great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, lovely mother, and the very best grandmother. A Mass service memorial will be held in Fort Worth at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 4100 Blue Mound Road 76106 Thursday, December 16, at 10:00 a.m. Viewing will be Friday, December 17, from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home, located at 201 N. Hickory in Crescent, Oklahoma. The funeral will be in Crescent, Oklahoma at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church Saturday, December 18, at 10:00 a.m. Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church is located at .02 miles north on H-74 from 74/74C junction.
