Willa Janice Prosser, 87, passed away June 27, 2011. She was born July 13, 1923 in Marshall, OK to Ralph and Alma Bridal.
She was married to Verlin Francis Prosser on August 30, 1942. After World War II, they lived in Crescent, OK then moved to Oklahoma City, OK where Francis worked as a diesel mechanic and Janice kept the home fire burning as wife, mother, and homemaker. They moved to Guthrie, OK in 1960 where they lived until their passing.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Guthrie. She loved her family with all her heart and showed that love to them every single day.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ralph Bridal, Jr., and sister Marcelyn Goslin.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Gary and Loretta Prosser of Yuma, AZ; daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Wayman Momsen of Guthrie; four grandchildren Gerri Andreas, KayCee Rivera, Shannon Fleck, and Craig Fleck; two great-grandchildren and a host of other loved family members and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2011 at Crescent Cemetery with Dr. Dennis E. Clark of First Christian Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Visitation will be Thursday, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
