On July 1, 2022, Michael Allen Moore gave his last farewells to this world and moved on to a better place. After a courageous 10-month battle with brain cancer, Mike peacefully passed away at the age of 62 with his loving wife of 34 years, Jackie, by his side. He lives on through loved ones who will proudly continue to carry on his legacy.
Mike was the epitome of the ideal father role model. He devoted his life to being the best father he could be by fully supporting his kid's interests no matter what they wanted to do. Each day he looked forward to spending intentional time with them as a father and as a friend, whether that was playing catch or riding dirt bikes. Mike's life was his kids. His love for his children poured over to his grandchildren. Papa was a superhero in their eyes. The love he had for his children and grandchildren was overwhelmingly pure.
Mike was in the car business for over 40 years and positively influenced many people during his career. Following through on his commitments both professionally and personally was paramount to Mike. He truly loved working in the industry and exemplified integrity in every interaction he had.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Mike. He loved to go fishing in the early mornings with his sons. He appreciated nature and would seek out every opportunity to be outside. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities at work and home. Patience and wisdom were embedded in Mike's personality and affected everyone he met.
Mike is survived by his wife, Jackie Moore; four sons, Jeremiah, Joshua, Michael, and Colten; two daughters, Christina, and Chera; grandchildren, Alyssa, Brianna, Ivy, Grey, and Noah; and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Annabelle, and brothers, Terry and Patrick
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday July 5, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent. Burial will follow in the Crescent Cemetery.
