Butch Henning
(January 5, 1953 - January 21, 2014)
William A. Henning (Butch) was born on January 5, 1953. His parents were the late Cletta and Herman (Jiggs) Henning. He left us to be our guardian angel on January 21, 2014 after a 9 year battle with cancer.
Butch was very active in all sports during his time at Crescent High School which made his brothers look up to him and want to be just like their big brother. Upon graduation Butch had many different jobs that soon led to the oilfield, which gave him plenty of time to do visiting with everyone in town.
Butch married Leann Ledington in 1973, they had 2 beautiful daughters, Shana and Sheri. Leann and Butch eventually divorced but remained close friends. He then married Pam Henning on October 3, 1998 and took on the role of father to Steve and Jennifer. His greatest and most treasured role was being Papa to his 9 grandchildren.
Butch is survived by Pam of the home, 4 children; Shana Henning of Las Vegas, NV, Sherri and husband Duane Huddelston of Northfolk, VA, Steve and Gen Michael of Ravenna, OH and Jennifer and husband Loyd Jones of Crescent, 2 brothers; Herman and wife Debbie Henning of Georgia and Jan and wife Debbie Henning of Cashion, OK; 9 grandchildren and many many other family and friends.
