Helen Louise Hedrick
(July 7, 1933 - August 15, 2012)
Helen Louise Hedrick was born July 7, 1933, in Drummond, OK, to Harold and Beulah (Brown) Neill. On August 15, 2012, she went home to be with Jesus where she has a granddaughter showing her around heaven. She passed away at her home in Crescent, OK, at the age of 79 years.
Helen met Stuart Hedrick while she was working as a receptionist for a doctor in Hennessey, OK. Stuart and Helen were married on August 21, 1955. Helen was a volunteer at Integris Baptist Medical Center for 12 years. She was an active choir member at the First Baptist Church in Crescent, as well as, faithfully helping as a Falls Creek cook, kid’s mission’s organizations, funeral dinners, and Secretary of her Sunday School class. Her generous spirit of helping others and serving God will always be treasured and remembered by her family and those she worked alongside.
Survivors include her husband, Stuart, of the home; three daughters, Lori James and husband Randy of Guthrie, OK, Lisa Kindsvater and husband Jay of El Reno, OK, and Stacie Riddle and husband Mathew of Seiling, OK; sister, Cleo Brown of Salina, KS; brother, Glen Neill and wife Carolyn of Shidler, OK; 8 grandchildren, Randall, Jeff, Stephany, Geoff, Jericho, Kayla, Rebecca, and Jaden; one great grandchild, Paul; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Virgil and Leo Neill; and 1 grandchild, Jalen Beth.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, August 18, 2012, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Companion Home Health-Hospice in Guthrie, OK.
