Dwayne Glen Graves was born on August 29, 1950 and died Friday, June 29, 2012 in Guthrie, OK. He lived in Guthrie his entire life, except for the time he was in the Army. Dwayne was so honored to be able to serve his country and demonstrated it through his Patriotism. He was a great man and will be missed by everyone.
Dwayne and Connie (Coburn) were united in marriage in June of 1997 in Guthrie. He never had any children of his own, but received the love of a father from his two step-children; Sheila Clark of Choctaw, OK, and David Flanagan of Guthrie. Dwayne also has seven grandchildren; Conner Flanagan of Edmond; Tiffani Pelligrin of Oklahoma City; Aidan Clark and Cannon Wright of Choctaw; Macy, Erin and Rylee Flanagan of Guthrie. He also survived by two brothers, Jerry and Daryl Graves and one sister, Linda Morrow of Guthrie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Dwayne will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 2 PM in the Smith Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Crescent Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 1-8 PM.
