Jeff D. Allen
(September 11, 1955 - July 3, 2010)

Jeffrey Dale Allen was born September 11, 1955 in Sacramento, California to Vernon Dale and Marilyn Jo (Hart) Allen. He passed away July 3, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years.

Jeff had many jobs in his lifetime, some of which included working at the Crescent Co-Op in high school, and oilfield services for a number of years. He was working at Pioneer Telephone Coop in the engineering department as a draftsman at the time of his death.

Jeff was never an idle man. He had many hobbies. Some of which included fishing, building various things, and anything that involved racing. He has raced motocross, stock cars, and remote controlled cars. He lived to ride his Harley rain or shine. He would ride if it was above 30 degrees. He participated in many poker runs, most of which were for charity. He lived for his family and friends and was there anytime one called him. Most importantly, he lived to serve his GOD and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crescent.

Survivors include, three children, Jenny Hicks, Crissy Evenson, and Jeremiah Allen all of Crescent; one sister, Joy Alexander of California; three brothers, Steve Allen of Enid, Von Allen of Norman, and Greg Allen of Bethany; four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 9, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent with Dr. Bryan Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
