Debbie Kay Fields Jones

Debbie Kay Jones, 65, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Debbie was born on May 29, 1959, in Amarillo, Texas to Joel and Margaret (Spoden) Fields. Debbie married Tommy Lee Jones on March 17, 1979, in Amarillo.

Throughout her life, Debbie lived in Amarillo, Texas, Chandler, Oklahoma, and Alabama, settling back in Chandler 13 years ago. During her stent in Alabama, she worked as an optometrist assistant and in healthcare. First and foremost, she took great care of her kids and grandkids as a stay-at-home mom and grandma.

Debbie enjoyed cleaning, fishing, being outdoors, going to the river, and looking for arrowheads. She was very funny and loved to listen to music. Debbie was very proud of and serious about her Cherokee heritage and collected anything Cherokee related: eagles, wolves, and dream catchers.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Margaret Fields.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Lee Jones; children, Crystal Crews and her partner Brandon Lawrence, Tommy Jones, Jessica Jones, Lisa Rackley and husband, Kelson Rackley, and her step-daughter, Annie Baugher and her partner Joshua Staley; grandchildren, Erika Tripp and her husband Chadd Tripp, Tyler Crews, Journey Crews, Triston Morris, Bailey Crews, Austin Morris, Alyssa Jones, Christoper Jones, Hunter Rackley, Joshua Baugher, Jonathan Baugher, Kierra Jones, and Jordan Jones; brother, Wayne Fields and wife Shirley Fields; sister Cathy Deluca and husband Maruro Deluco; former son-in-law, Dustin Crews; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
