Mary Beth (Bolin) Payne was born June 4th, 1951, in Borger, TX to Edwin Nichols Bolin and Audrey (Marney) Bolin. She passed away Sept. 16, 2021, in Edmond, OK. at the age of 70.
Mary was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and homemaker. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed traveling with them, visiting museums, genealogy, her pets, the Beatles, and country music. Mary was a strong, generous, patient, and kind person. She was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Wellston. She married Mike Payne October 29th, 1970. They went on to have 3 sons, Scott Payne, Steven Payne, and Travis Payne.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin, and Audrey Bolin; brother, Forrest Bolin; husband, Mike Payne; and sons, Scott, and Travis Payne. Survivors include her sister, Judy Bolin of Wellston; son, Steven Payne, and wife Connie of Wellston; grandchildren, Brooke and Victoria Payne, Scotty Payne, Brittaney Payne; great-grandchildren, Aiden Winlock, Alexandria Gomez, and Axel Gomez.
Mary's visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2021 at Lehman Funeral Home. Her family will be present from 4:00 till 6:00 to greet friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Missionary Baptist Church in Wellston with Reverend Dennis Osborne officiating and interment following in the Wellston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
