Billie LeeRoy Davis was born August 18, 1935 in Wellston to Walter and Ethel (Prough) Davis. He passed away June 19, 2023 in his home in Wellston at the age of 87.
Billie grew up in Wellston where he graduated from high school with the class of 1953. He farmed his entire life while working for Phillips 66 until retirement following 33 years of service. Billie married Barbara Wiley in 1953 and they raised 7 children together. He later married Jymay (Leach) and they raised 2 children together. Billie loved spending time with his family after his farming was caught up. He loved his grandchildren so long as they did what they were told. He was passionate about his farm and the work he did to make it run.
Billie was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ethel Davis; 1st wife, Barbara Davis; 2 sons, Garry Don Davis and Coby Lee Davis; siblings, George Davis, Marie Hackworth, Lawanda Lewallen, Edna Johnson, Alma Huff, and Marilyn Melson. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jymay Davis of the home; children, Terry Davis of Wellston, Larry Davis of Wellston, Pam Graves and husband Bill of Oklahoma City, Billy Joe Davis and wife Dodie of Wellston, Jimmy Davis and wife Karetha of Wellston, John Davis of Strong City, Tracy Ozuna and husband Mike of Henderson, NV; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Wellston Assembly of God Church with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
