Alvin Gale Danker was born April 29, 1948 in Wellston to Earl and Vinita (Brown) Danker. He passed away June 29, 2022 in his home in Wellston at the age of 74.
Alvin was one of 8 children. He grew up in Wellston where he attended school graduating with the Wellston Class of 1966. He worked as a delivery driver for UPS retiring after 30 years of service. Alvin was passionate about horses. For 42 years, he raised, trained, rode and loved horses. He was also a family man who loved his family dearly.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Vinita Danker; siblings, Marcella, Earlene and infant Gale; his daughter, Robyn Celeste Danker; and grandson, River Danker. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Jane (Fenton) Danker of the home; children, Jana Marie Danker and wife Robin Ash of Wellston, Jason Danker of Springtown, TX; (7) grandchildren, Zack, Anna, Rain, Leah, Mason, Deven, Ryan; (3) great-grandchildren, Miley, Mabry, Rachael; siblings, Martha, George, Lola, Regina; along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend J.D. Vails officiating and interment following in the Wellston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
