Clessie Willingham passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Clessie was born in Castle, OK on Monday, July 1, 1929 to Burt and Bena (Edna) Friend. Clessie married Buck Willingham in August of 1944. Together they raised a family and owned and operated B&C Paving Company. Clessie helped in every way with the business, even running the roller. Clessie absolutely loved being a mother and excelled at it. To her, family was the biggest blessing. Clessie loved animals and never met one that didn't become a pet. She loved to garden and can. Clessie was always faithful to God and to her the Bible was her most prized reading.
Clessie was preceded in death by her parents Burt and Bena; husband Buck; infant son Raymond Willingham; son Bob Willingham; brothers Donald and JD Friend; and sister Jo Davis.
Left to treasure her memory include daughters Norma Warden, Sharon Cox and husband Hiram and Shirley Willingham; grandchildren Sheila Maxwell, Dale Willingham and wife CarLynn, and Clessie Cox; great grandchildren Mitchell Maxwell and wife Keshia, Jackie Keller and husband Seth, Sarah Maxwell and fianc Colby Toothman, Hailee Smith, Garrett Cox and girlfriend Ryleigh Hunziker, Caylee Willingham and Casey Willingham and wife Katie; great great grandchildren Bradley and Sadie Maxwell, Bodee Cox, Ryker, Alijah and Liam Keller, Corben and Casten Koelaher and Jace and Willow Willingham; as well as extended family and many friends.
