Jimmie Mae (Stephens) Wilcher was born on May 22, 1926 in Depew, OK and departed this life on November 29, 2020 in Stroud, OK at the blessed age of 94 years.
Jimmie is the daughter of William Thomas and Myrtle Lela (Simpson) Stephens. Jimmie worked a variety of jobs throughout her life. However, she always talked about picking cotton, working in the fields and owning and working at The Milfay Store when she was younger. Jimmie loved to read her Bible, go to church, pray for people and was always willing to help someone in need. She will be greatly missed by her family whom she loved so much, all 6 generations.
Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charlie Thompson; husband Stanford D. Wilcher; sons Charles H. Thompson and Arlie Ray Thompson; daughter Janet Elaine Webster; grandson Delbert Thompson; great grandson Jason Villeneuve; sisters Dessi Shamblin and Ida Velma (Dollie) Wright and brother Charles Stephens.
Jimmie leaves behind her son David Wilcher and wife Pam; son Johnny Thompson; daughter Virginia Hulsey; grandchildren Brenda Richmond, Danny Thompson, Scott Thompson, Denise Villeneuve, Cassandra Pearman, Wanda Dingman; Sherry Aranda; Johnny D’Wayne Thompson; Johnny Gregg Thompson; Melissa Jones; and Tanner Hulsey; great grandchildren Chris Thompson; Sarah Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Amber Nicole Thompson, Cody Villeneuve, Jeremey Newell, Monica Ashpaugh, Travis Pearman, Brandi Fine, Jeremy Fuller, Tara Ruffner, Christy Threlkeld, Rebecca Smith, Annie Lacy, Natalie Otto, Becky Simmons, Anakin Bryan, Cory Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Reba Thompson, Gregory Gibbs, Jamison Gibbs, Nate Cummins, Hannah Cummins, 25 great grandchildren, 40 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great grandchildren; cousins Leora Williams and husband Bobby, Frances Hamilton and husband Clyde, Geneva Lewis and husband Paul, and Don Williams and wife Hazel and numerous extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Stroud Cemetery officiated by Pastor Jeromye Jackson. Condolences may be offered online at www.parksbrothers.net. Care Services are provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
