Patsy Freeze, 70, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, was called to her eternal resting place on December 4, 2018. She entered this world on September 1, 1948, in Stroud, OK, born to Ples and Leota Mae (Bunyard) Hightower. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and three sisters.
To carry on her legacy, she is survived by her daughter, Yvonda Cranz and husband Frank; sons Bobby Harris and Allen Harris and wife Kelly; stepsons Rocky Gregory, Tommy Freeze and wife Margaret; brothers Alvin and wife Alta and Lavon (Poker) Hightower; granddaughter Kieran Hanlon; grandsons Jesse Harris, Chris Freeze, Travis Freeze and wife Brooke, Nick Freeze and wife Amber and a host of nieces, nephews, great grand children and other family members and friends.
Patsy loved the simple things in life. She cherished time spent with her family and especially the opportunity to cook for them. If it was fried or baked, she could make it. And as so many do, she had a love for the use of bacon when cooking. Patsy enjoyed her fellowship with her church family at First Baptist Church of Paden where she had been a long-time member. For many years Patsy worked as a hair stylist at several local beauty salons. After that she worked at the local TDK and Wrangler plants. Additionally, she was a huge OU football fan.
A funeral service to celebrate Patsy's life will held 2 PM Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Paden. Burial will follow at Stroud Cemetery where she will be laid to rest close to her parents.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.
