Steven enjoyed playing softball, and was known as the best softball pitcher by the umpires. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially pestering and aggravating them. He was a football fan and especially loved the Dallas Cowboy football team. Steven was a member of the Harrah Church of the Nazarene.

He is preceded in death by his father, Steven Monroe Sr.; grandparents, Dorothy Standifer, Bob Standifer, Edna and JC Ozburn; many other family and friends.
